Township Planning Study
continued evolution for municipal growth needs

More than twenty years after HSA completed the adaptive reuse of a carriage house/barn into municipal administrative offices and a police department, Easttown Township tasked our team with assessing their current municipal constraints to determine their future space.
HSA conducted a comparative study of 10 townships’ municipal facilities to ultimately see how Easttown’s current facilities stacked up in facility size, space per employee, meeting room capacities, and amenities in administration and police buildings.
Based on the metric findings, HSA completed a thorough programming and block planning study for township reorganization, including precedent research and analysis and interviews with multiple municipal and community representatives. The conceptual plans explore several options to address the township’s future needs including renovations and additions at the existing campus buildings, leasing, or building new at a different site.
