Martin Luther King High School

Located in an urban setting, Martin Luther King High School was in search of a front entrance that would welcome the community and relate to the major thoroughfare, Stenton Avenue, on which it fronts.
Gladnick Wright Salameda provided a Master Plan for the school recommending a new entry area in a landscaped park setting.
HSA provided the design for the gazebo and covered walkway to shelter students from inclement weather, as well as provide a place to congregate as a community.
