QVC Prep Kitchen

HSA served as the architect for QVC's prep kitchen, working closely with a specialty kitchen designer and engineers for this longtime client. The prep kitchen operates 24 hours a day, preparing food for on-air shows and editorial photography.

The project involved a full gut renovation to create an open show kitchen, enhancing flow and increasing the capacity of what was previously a disjointed space. The renovations also included offices and storage areas to improve operational efficiency.

The new kitchen features 20 prep stations, an open staging area for 27 tables, and expanded storage capacity. Additionally, a residential cooking zone was incorporated for product testing. The renovations were phased to include the design and coordination of temporary kitchen facilities to ensure uninterrupted operations.
