This pedestrian bridge links two existing class ‘A’ office buildings in Chesterbrook Corporate Center. The design was fundamental in Shire’s decision to locate its U.S. Headquarters here.

The bridge acts essentially as a geometric sculpture - seamlessly accommodating the varied geometries and differences in height between the existing buildings, and also providing a sense of transparency from both the exterior and interior. Thoughtful architectural detailing includes zinc cladding, wood ceilings, carefully exposed ductwork, stainless steel and glass railing systems and curtain wall suspended from the structural frame.
