Located on a hilltop of donated Chester County farmland, the New Garden Township Building has become a well-recognized face of New Garden Township and sets the standard for new buildings in the surrounding community. Designed to minimize its impact on the site, the structure nestles into the hillside and adheres to environmentally sensitive design principles.

The building is organized around a town hall meeting room, flanked by township administration and community wings, creating a center for the community and the growing township park. The use of local stone, standing seam and shingled roofs, operable windows and a geothermal heat pump system promotes sustainable design principles set forth by HSA.
